by Tony Wilkins How could you leave out Marty Lacker who was one of the main members of Elvis' Memphis Mafia? He was Elvis' right hand man for a number of years and was the Co-Best Man at Elvis' wedding. He went to the last year of high school with Elvis and Red West. Marty was solely responsible for Hwy 51 being changed to Elvis Presley Blvd in late '71 as well as being responsible for Elvis recording at American Studios in Memphis in '69. There was much more he did for and on behalf of Elvis. |
