1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: I remember it so well.It was the the first time I actually saw Elvis on stage.I was 10.Of course I had heard the name but I was TEN for pete's sake.I still to this very day remember watching the whole "Aloha from Hawaii" via satellite concert.And still to this day I'll NEVER forget the day he died.Youd'e have thought a true member of the family had passed on.My older cousins an aunts were wailing at the fact the "King was dead".For several days some didn't leave the television set.Others listened to the radio.But "it was as earth shattering as the day President Kennedy was shot",I remember my aunt,my mothers oldest sister saying.She then said,"He was everything to a whole lotta people.The parents could respect him for his gospel singing and Christian upbringing,the guys wanted to be like him,and ALL the girls were in love with him."He will never be forgotten and always remembered as the King of Rock n Roll".It was all something I will never forget.

2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: The way he sounded and LOOKED in the 70's.I'm the age of his daughter and he is still very EASY to look at in his videos etc.

3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": I would love to know why it was so hard for him to relate or talk to anyone.Why he didn't trust anyone.And who made him that way.He was such a handsome man and from what's told very generous and caring,but could go off the deep end at times for no reason.Why could he not just talk to some one in his entourage or a girlfriend.Linda T maybe?Or even let it out in one of his beautiful songs.

4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie? And why is it your favourite?
: My favorite song is "Suspicious Minds".But I also love the way he does "Polk Salad Annie" as well as the way he did "hound Dog"when he was in Las Vegas in the early 70's('70-'73).To me that was when he looked his best and was probably at his worst.

5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: The dark Blue,The Tigerman,and the one he wore for the "Aloha "special,with the eagle on it.But I also liked the one with the Peacocks on it.They were all great except for the Spanish looking one.I didn't care much for that one.But I think of all of them the one I like the best now and always have is the White Fringe(off white)one he had especially made but didn't wear often because it was difficult for him to move in.But that BY FAR was the greatest.

6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: His one TRUE LOVE OF HIS LIFE?His daughter,Lisa,hands down.But as far as "Lovers"?I think Priscilla was clay.Something he wanted to see if he could mold into what he wanted.When it was done they were done.But I honestly believe that Linda Thompson was the greatest true LOVE.She was his all and he didn't really try to change her after she let him know he couldn't.That was what I think made their love the greatest and why I think he truly LOVED her the most.

7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: At my cousins.When we heard it everyone went IMMEDIATELY to my mothers house.She was a GREAT Elvis fan.

8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year, even long after his death?
: He was all things to everybody.He wasn't arrogant,or misleading.You knew what you were getting with him.But his charisma was so overwhelming,it took on EVERYONE and very close to ALWAYS, won!

Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experence or feelings on this site?
: No I haven't.but I DEFIANTLY want to go SOON!I live in Tennessee and actually Memphis is not that far.It's just getting away from 4 teenage boys that are all in school,ad away from my job that I truly need to take care of them all ALONE,that makes getting there far more hard than one would imagine.But DO NOT GET ME WRONG!I'd not trade a thing for my boys!They are the greatest thing in the world to me.I think I know how Gladys felt about ELvis!

Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays. Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?
: Las Vegas stage superstar

:: Elvis, I truly hate that you've missed all the great things you accomplished.It was a great great gift you had and one that touched many many souls and hearts.You opened SO many doors for the entertainment industry today.You really have NO idea.And for thank I am thankful.Everyone,even children of today know who you are and what you accomplished.It was GREAT!the impersonators are wonderful,but NONE compare to you and your sultry way.You did things it would take 5 stars of today to do.And none since have been called or even touched the King of Rock n Roll!!R.I.P. Elvis!We miss you Much!!!

: My name is Angel and I am the single mother of 4 teenage boys!I love Elvis and listening to him on the radio or watching his videos on the computer.Imagine how he would feel seeing all the technology today and knowing he was great enough,to be a huge part of even that TODAY!I am a true Elvis fan baby.And look forward to many more years with his music!

Thank you for your comments on our survey. Wow, I have very much enjoyed it, very interesting reading. We will never forget the day Elvis left us; I remember the feeling of this devastating news as if it was yesterday. He was indeed a very special man in our world; he is to this day very dearly loved. Elvis expressed many of his own feelings in his lyrics; through his music was his way of releasing his own emotions. Angel, I hope you one day have the chance to go to Graceland.
