1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: I heard about Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show when I was twelve yrs old.

2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: He had such a natural beautiful voice that when he sang,a peaceful,soothing and calm feeling would embrace you....

3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": Thank-you for your beautiful gift of music and for sharing that with us...

4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie? And why is it your favourite?
: "I'll Remember You" The song has alot of emotional feeling to it.

5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: The red suit.

6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: No need to guess,his MOTHER

7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: I was at the time living in Lodi,NJ. I was driving home from my one of my friend's house when I heard it on the radio.
What was so strange about that day was I had asked my friend I wonder what the world would do if Elvis died,then I heard it. I was so shocked when I got home I turned on the tv and they were showing the news about his death.I was crying so hard that I was sobbing. It broke my heart.

8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year, even long after his death?
: His music...

Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experence or feelings on this site?
: No I haven't been fortunate to go there as of yet. But I did go to his daughter Lisa Marie's concert in Asbury Park NJ. I was only a few feet away from her. Priscilla was there also,but didn't see her. Lisa Marie looks and acts like her father Elvis.She is a beautiful young lady and also talented like her father.She has her own style of music. That night she had laryngitis,hard for her to sing,although she did good.She offer her apologies and said that a round of drinks would be on her to make up for that.No one seemed to mind for they were really into her music.

Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays. Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?
: 68 comeback t.v. doco & live concerts

Why can't they let you be happy
where you were first given
birth?

It made us,your true fans,sad
when you had to go

They put your family through great pain
In order to get their gain!
For them to survive
They say that you are alive.

It's so far fetched
They know they have the catch
When you are mention
They get a pension!
Little do they know
How they treat you so;
Treat you like a fool
Treat you mean and cruel
BUT....

Do they love you?
We love you, honey
And we don't want money
We,your fans,are keeping in stride
To keep your memory alive....
You did your best,the best ever

Thank you kindly for your poem and comments. Elvis is truly in our hearts `forever,` the warmth and comfort in his music still has a great effect today. My youngest is 7 years old, he loves listening to his music and really enjoys his movies, and he has a genuine interest in Elvis` life. Your poem is very touching, I love it.
