1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: I first bought Its Now or Never and my friend pursuades me to go and see G I Blues. I wanted to go and see The Millionairess withPeter Sellers and SWophia Loren. Glad I went with her

2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: looks and music but afterwards his pure heartedness and his live of his fans, being so humble and giving. He had an amazing good heart.

3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": I would say thank you for all the pleasure you have given me for the last 48 years, I have met so many friends because of you and had many many hours of pleasure listening to your beautiful voice .

4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie? And why is it your favourite?
: I love Change of Habit because it is different from the usual "music" films. I love His earlier fils too. I cannot possibly choose one song but if I had to I would say "The wonder of you"

5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: The white one in the 68` comeback

6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: His mum.

7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: Making coffee the day after, we had been out and I had not heard the news. I was devastated.

8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year, even long after his death?
: Because of his enormous talent, he had such a wonderful voice, looks and charisma and also because he loved his fans so much and even was known to go onstage feeling ill because he did not want to let his fans down. My only regret is that I never saw him in concert.

Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experence or feelings on this site?
: A friend and I visited Graceland only this month(june 09) when trying to tell people, I do, however I have to say indescribable. It was not over the top I can imagine it being realy homely when Elvis was there and the lack of 15 foot security walls was amazing. We felt very emotional being there and just watching the fans being shuttled up and down the drive . We visited the meditation garden every morning and felt so at peace with Elvis. As I said previously...Indescribable.

Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays. Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?
: King of rock & roll recording star

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about yourself to share on your own Elvis Presley Fan page?
: I am 60 years old and have loved Elvis since I was 12, My dad used to say if I learned my lessons at school the way I learned the Elvis records I would be top of the school. I have made so may friends because of Elvis and have spent many happy hour discussing Elvis and listening to his music. I wonce worked in a cinema when Elvis Thats The Way It Is was due to be released and loe and behold it came to my cinema whilst I was away on holiday so I travelled with another fan on the train to watch it. In 1963 Christmas Eve I received a Chrstmas Card from Graceland and I carried it everywhere with me, I still have it but am afraid to say the envelope is worse for wear. It is a treasured possesion as with all my Elvis things. I thought the end of the world had come the day he died , I gathered all the daily papers but unfortunately when my marriage came to an end my ex got rid of my papers . I would love to be able to get them again.

: Music, Movies, Posters, Books, Ceramics, Souveneir items

Thank you for your comments on our survey. I am so touched; this is a beautiful survey Christine. Elvis truly was a tender sincere generous person who loved his fans as he is very much loved and adored by us today. I got to agree with you Christine, there`s no way I can choose one favorite song. I also love `The Wonder Of You.` I love Elvis in his white suit too, soooo pure as he was! Thank you for sharing your experience with us on your visit to his home, I have never been, but hope to someday. Christine, I hope you are able to come across your treasured papers, every Elvis collection we gather means the world to us and treasure forever. So sorry to hear that they were taken from you. But no one can take Elvis from our heart!
