1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: When I was 12 my mother would tell my about how her own mother got her loving Elvis...and well I felt like I was destined to be a fan of his.

2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: I guess his voice,charm, and style.I love everything about him...he's diamond in the ruff.

3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": Elvis, I want you to know that I love you and your talent. You are an amazing person and you were raised well. God is an almighty God and he blessed you with this talent for a reason and you knew it and used it to spread the word as often as you could.Again I love you.

4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie? And why is it your favourite?
: My favorite song is" You'll never walk alone", I think it's the words and the way he sings it. But my fav. movie is definately Loving You!

5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: I have to say the The Gold Suit in Las Vegas.

6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: His Mother!

7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: I wasn't born yet but I hate to watch about how others reacted when they found out....I get really teary eyed and choked up.

8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year, even long after his death?
: HIs personality and His style was one that only he had so I think people like myself just want to know what all the fuss was about and some of us become Huge Fans.

Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experence or feelings on this site?
: No but that would be a Dream come true.

Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays. Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?

:: Hi Elvis...I wish I could of been here while you were...I would of loved to of seen you in person. I hear you were very loving to your fans. I know you always felt lonely even in crowded rooms and I honestly wish I could of helped but I am just a fan and only God could of done that. You still to this day have the love and admiration of soooo many people, and I hope you can hear me when I say I will never forget you and I love you.

: I'm 20 years old. I've been an Elvis fan since I was 12 and I love to collec tevery bit of Memorabilia i can. Umm...I don't really know what else to say.

: Music, Posters, Books, other

Thank you for taking part in our survey. Your choice of song is a great favorite of mine too, the lyrics are wonderful. It`s not hard to go to pieces and have a tear or two over his death, the loss of this GREAT man is still felt by many today. Elvis was truly a wonderful person with great looks and unbeatable talent`.He shared such beauty with the world, and we his loyal fans, are Forever grateful. Lovely to hear from you Elida.

Anita Wood tells about her first date with Elvis

I went on to do Dance Party with Wink Martindale which was a Saturday programme for teenagers where George Klein worked. I really was not an Elvis fan before I met him but I was a disc jockey and I did play his records.

Well, one particular Saturday Lamar Fike called me and said that Elvis would like to meet me and I told him that I was sorry but I already had a date for that night. I explained that I couldn`t let my date down, Elvis wouldn`t have liked it if it were him and that I was very sorry.

A couple of weeks later Lamar called again and said Elvis would like a date and was I free that night. At the time I was living with a lady that I had met called Miss Patty who became a real mother figure to me and I told Lamar to ask Elvis to pick me up there and we set a time.

When he came buy in his Cadillac, Elvis was driving. He sent George Klein up to the door, which was a big mistake, and Miss Patty told him that she was sorry but Elvis would have to come himself if he wanted a date.

Anyway, Elvis came back with George, this was just after he had made Loving You and he wore a red velvet shirt and looked very, very handsome. I must say that he was the best looking man that I have ever seen. Anyway, George made the introductions to me and to Miss Patty who told them to have me back at a sensible hour or she wouldn`t let me go. I went out to the Cadillac and there was Lamar and a few other guys. We just drove around laughing and talking, having a great time.

Elvis got hungry so he stopped by the store for some hamburgers. We drove up to Graceland were I remember he had a whole lot of teddy bears in the dinning room. All of a sudden Elvis said, `I want to show you my bedroom` and so we went upstairs and he started to kiss me.

Now, this was the first date and his hands started to move were I thought they shouldn`t so I said, `I think I need to go home now.`

He acted real nice, we went down stairs and he took me home. And the second date? The second date was a couple of nights later and we went up to Graceland again.

You know Elvis still had an old truck and we`d get in it and he would drive me down to Lauderdale Courts to show me where he used to live. He`d show me around Memphis and nobody would ever bother us because they really didn`t recognise him in that truck. We just went back to his house, we watched television, ate and had a good time, then Elvis took me home.
