1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: My Granny and I used to watch Elvis movies when I would go over to her house. I remember we would stay up until all hours of the night watching his movies. I've loved Elvis music and Elvis movies since I was old enough to walk. And I've just loved Elvis ever since.
2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: At first his movies, then I started listening to his music, and I just loved it. Elvis Presley doesn't have one bad song to his name in my opinion.
3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": First I would kiss the crap out of him. But after that, I'd want to ask him if he regrets anything and what does he think could have saved his life?
There's lots of stuff I'd want to talk to him about.
4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie?
And why is it your favourite?
: Movie: Loving You & King Creole
Song: If I Can Dream, In The Ghetto, and Always On My Mind.
Elvis Presley was a great actor, but I think that Loving You and King Creole really show it a lot better. These movies are just flat out good. and all the songs in them are really good.
If I Can Dream and In The Ghetto are incredible songs. They both send out true, intense messages. When Elvis sang them, you could really tell he felt the song and he believed in every word coming out of his mouth.
Always on my mind is a great song, because it's really Elvis singing about his personal life. You almost feel guilty for watching him sing it, because you feel like it's something personal for him, and it really was. It's such a great song, I cry almost every time I hear it.
5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: I liked the 68 Comeback suits, and I'm also a fan of the clothes he wore during the 50s. Those really stylish, bright suits and stuff like that. Love it.
6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: his mother, Gladys
Lisa Marie
Priscilla
7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: I was born in 1991. So I was non-existant whenever he passed away.
8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year,
even long after his death?
: It's hard to say. There's just some kind of something that he has that is timeless. I honestly can't pinpoint a specific thing about him that does it, it's just his whole being, I guess.
Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experience or feelings on this site?
: Yes. I went on July 2, 2007. I was originally supposed to go for my 16th birthday in April, but a few days before I went, I hurt my knee really bad, and had to have surgery, and so finally in July, me, my mom, and my aunt, went to Memphis, knee brace and all, and we went to Graceland, and it was the most fun I'd ever had. When I was there, I felt like I had to whisper when I spoke, because it's such a...temple, almost. It really is a time capsule, you felt like at any moment, Elvis was going to come running in. It was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back.
Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays.
Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?
: Young raw musician,

HELLO Holly
Thank you for your comments on our survey, it`s lovely to hear from you Holy. Elvis was pretty hot in his black leather, in the 68 comeback. So stunningly handsome. When Elvis sang it was from deep within, he did feel every word. I must agree with you Holy, some of his songs were so close to his own sorrow its hard not to have a tear or two, when you see and feel the emotions over powering our king, we are right there with him. I`m sure Graceland is an overwhelming experience. I would love to go to Graceland its one of my future goals to make the trip. Holy look after that knee, I hope all goes well for you.
Holy I have put one of your favorite song lyrics below, Enjoy
If I can Dream
performed by Elvis Presley
There must be lights burning brighter somewhere
Got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true
There must be peace and understanding sometime
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
All the doubt and fear
If I can dream of a warmer sun
Where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear
We're lost in a cloud
With too much rain
We're trapped in a world
That's troubled with pain
But as long as a man
Has the strength to dream
He can redeem his soul and fly
Deep in my heart there's a trembling question
Still I am sure that the answer gonna come somehow
Out there in the dark, there's a beckoning candle
And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true, right now
Let it come true right now
Oh yeah
