1. How and when did you first hear about Elvis Presley?
: The day he died. A friend's mother was sobbing uncontrollably in front of the TV. I asked what was wrong and she said Elvis died. I asked Elvis who? She sat me down and told me all about Elvis. I've loved him ever since.

2. What was it that got you hooked on Elvis?
: His music and his "style".

3. If Elvis were alive, what would you like to say to him or ask him?
"My Message to Elvis": Do what makes you happy. Don't let others control what you sing or how, when, why, or what you do. Follow your dreams!!

4. WHICH is your favourite Elvis Presley song or movie? And why is it your favourite?
: Kentucky Rain — it was the very first Elvis song and I ever heard and I just fell in love with it.

5. Which is your favourite SUIT that Elvis wore on stage?
: Do I have to pick just one? I guess I'd have to say his black leather suit. WOW!!! He sure looked great in it!!!

6. Who do you think Elvis loved most in his life, his greatest love?
: Priscilla, of course.

7. Where were you and what were you doing when you heard that Elvis had died?
: My friend and I were hanging out and decided to go to her house to listen to records. When we got there her mother was sobbing in front of the TV and told us Elvis died.

8. Why do you think Elvis still attracts new fans every year, even long after his death?
: Elvis and his music and movies are timeless. With all his music, so many movies, photos, Graceland and all the things available to see, visit and listen to, he's constantly in the public eye. No other person has ever left such a legacy. With the availability of Elvis and the yumminess of it all, how could it not attract new fans?

Have you been to Graceland?...If so, would you like to share your experence or feelings on this site?
: I've been there 4 times and every time I see or learn something new. It is such a wonderful feeling to be in Elvis' home. While standing there and soaking up the experience, you feel like he could just come walking in. While in Graceland you forget that it's not 1977 and you forget about all your problems for a short time. The meditation garden is probably the most wonderful place at Graceland. It's so peaceful and beautiful. What a wonderful place for Elvis and his family to be buried and yet, we the fans, can visit.

Elvis was a trend leader and constantly "transformed" himself in his career, like Madonna & music stars are famous for doing nowdays. Which are your favourite "Elvis eras" in his career?
: 68 comeback t.v. doco & live concerts

Thank you for your comments on our survey. Kentucky Rain, is a wonderful song, it is also one of my many favorites. Elvis was a truly warm natured man. Its obvious his music is timeless, the fans are getting younger and younger. My son adores him, he enjoys his movies and loves his music, and he will often ask questions about Elvis like this man is part of the family. And of course that`s ok with me. Sue, thank you for sharing your visit to Graceland with us, I have never been to his home so I get quite a buzz reading the experiences of other fans. Elvis in his black leather, soooo gorgeous!!! No matter what costume or casual wear he wore Elvis was just breath taking!
