Priscilla Presley (born Priscilla Ann Wagner on May 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actress and the only wife of singer Elvis Presley.
Her biological father, James Wagner, was a United States Navy pilot who was killed in a plane crash when Priscilla was just an infant. Her mother remarried to Paul Beaulieu, a United States Air Force officer and they called her "Priscilla Ann." The Beaulieus were stationed in West Germany at the same time Elvis was there during his stint in the United States Army. Priscilla was 14 years old when they met.
Elvis managed to talk the extremely reluctant Beaulieus into allowing Priscilla to live with his father (Vernon Presley) and step-mother at a home Elvis purchased on Heritage Drive in Memphis. The seventeen-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu "worked" on her mother to get her support but before finally agreeing, her still reluctant and protective step-father flew with her to Los Angeles where Presley was filming Fun in Acapulco. After discussing the "rules," she and her father flew to Memphis where they met with Vernon Presley, made arrangements for Priscilla's enrollment in the Immaculate Conception school and her step-father confirmed her living arrangements at Vernon Presley's house.
Once living in Memphis in 1962, Priscilla Beaulieu says she moved into Graceland bit by bit, at first spending occasional nights with Presley, later moving in and sleeping together every night. In her 1985 autobiography, Elvis and Me, she describes Presley as a very passionate man with a Pentecostal upbringing plus his generation's double standard that cheered men for their sexual prowess with women, insisting a girl should remain a virgin until married and if she did not, she would be labeled a "slut." Presley told her that they had to wait until they were married before having actual intercourse (p.130) but they could do "other things."
She writes, "we had a strong connection, much of it sexual. The two of us created some exciting and wild times." Beaulieu also recounted how Elvis would stay up all night and sleep most of the day. If he wanted to go out, he would rent out the venue so no fans would bother him, or arrange with store owners to shop after hours when the store was closed. She also talked about the prescription sleeping pills that were present from the very first night she spent with him and how their usage and variety escalated dramatically during the years they were together.
She and Presley were married on May 1, 1967 and daughter Lisa Marie was born nine months later on February 1, 1968. They separated in February of 1972 and were divorced in October of 1973. Their divorce provided for mutual custody of Lisa Marie, who lived with Priscilla in Los Angeles and with her father at Graceland.
Priscilla Presley made her television debut in 1980 as a co-host of the ABC series Those Amazing Animals. She went on to portray Jenna Wade on the soap opera Dallas from 1983 to 1988 and starred opposite Leslie Nielsen in The Naked Gun gag movie trilogy.
She has lived with Brazilian writer-director Marco Garibaldi since 1984; their son, Navarone, was born on March 1, 1987.

When Lisa Marie was 8-years-old, her proud father, Elvis, gave his beloved child a mink coat and a diamond ring. Elvis spoiled their little girl so much that Lisa Marie would throw tantrums when she returned to her mother after a Daddy visit, screaming, "I wanna go back to Graceland!"
There, Elvis allowed Lisa Marie to tear around in her own golf cart until 4 a.m. "She was a terror when I got her back," says Priscilla.
When Lisa Marie turned 16, Priscilla handed her a unique gift. "I gave her all the tabloids I had kept, everything that was written about her. And me. She got the message: "No matter what you do-or don’t do-your past will always find you."
Few 58-year-old grandmas look as good as Priscilla. Any woman would be moved to ask: despite all the dramas, no frown lines?
How? "I’ll tell you why I have no lines. Elvis used to slap me in the forehead every time I looked up .
He’d tell me not to use my forehead to look up, only use my eyes. Pow! I still feel his hand there. I’ve never had Botox, any of that, in my forehead."
She simply never furrowed, no matter what. If she hunched over, Elvis would tap her on the back.
Priscilla says she doesn’t regret her days as Mrs. Presley. But she does understand now what made it so unworkable. "I lived somebody else’s life. It was never about me, it was really about him on every level."
Priscilla says Elvis brought out the mothering quality in her. "I cut his meat up for him. I tasted it before he ever had it.
I would fix his deviled eggs, cut off the top, put his butter in, and prepare all his food as a mother would for a child. I would test it to see if it was too hot. Even making his coffeeI loved doing it for him. We’d all baby him."
She also tells LHJ that it was hard telling Elvis the truth, even about how he looked in those white jumpsuits.
She reveals that when she told him "you really shouldn’t be wearing those anymoreit’s not looking good," Elvis would turn to his entourage to ask their opinion and they would say he looked "great."
Priscilla wants people to understand, "I have absolutely no anger. I don’t look back and go ▒Oh my gosh, look what happened to us.’
I lived a really wonderful life with this man and even after our divorce, it was incredible.
We had a closer bond, probably because the effort was off and there was just purity.
We realized that we liked each other, and that’s very special."
