Priscilla had been living with Elvis for two years, her hair in a beehive style dyed black with her makeup noticeable and wearing close figured cloths with high heel dress shoes, spending much of the time traveling with Elvis.

Her parents had returned from Germany and staying in Connecticut, soon to be on their way to the Travis Air Force Base, not far from Sacramento. Priscilla had missed her parents and was excited about seeing them, but she really hated the thought of being away from Graceland.

Priscilla knew her parents would be in total shock, with her obvious new look. The look that Elvis created and approved of, and she wasn’t about to change a thing. Arriving in Connecticut, her prediction with her appearance were confirmed when her parents saw her new look they were almost speechless, as Priscilla expected.

But a little later on, her father made a comment on her makeup, how her eyes looked like "two pissholes in the snow." Her weekend with her parents made Priscilla feel very uncomfortable with no hope of improvement.

She answered her parent’s questions with guarded replies. When Priscilla was asked about her relationship and life style with Elvis she answered with caution to protect her future with Elvis and her own privacy. Mr. and Mrs. Beaulieu began to feel uneasy and did not approve of Priscilla’ attitude with her short replies and protective guard.

From that weekend Priscilla decided to keep at a distance with her parents. Priscilla had joined Elvis in Los Angeles while he was doing another film. Her parents were aware of her being in Los Angeles and wanted her to spend weekends with them in Sacramento.

Priscilla was in a difficult spot, because she only wanted to spend her time with Elvis. She would go see her parents in Sacramento occasionally, because she knew if she didn’t go to see them, they would go to Los Angeles to see Priscilla and Elvis and knowing that Priscilla made the effort to see them.

It made Priscilla nervous to think about her parents visiting, Priscilla just never knew how or what might set Elvis off, so it was better that she would go and see them. One weekend she spent with her parent at Disneyland, on the Sunday her parents decided to drop her off at home, so then Priscilla felt she had to invite them for dinner.

Priscilla went into a fit of panic with their acceptance, for she knew she would have to show her parents around the house. After her parents dropped her off, Priscilla frantically ran into the house. She was about to make a quick bedroom change, she couldn’t dare tell her parents she slept with Elvis.

She asked Charlie Hodge, one of the guy’s that worked for Elvis if she was able to use his bedroom to make it look as that’s where she slept. Although Priscilla was in a panic she was able to get some of her own things together like, clothes, her much loved teddy collection was put on the bed, some of her perfume would also be displayed in the room. Her only hope was that it would appear to her parents, this is where Priscilla slept.

The evening went well, so far so good. But Priscilla was so worked up with the whole thing that she was unable to eat her meal. Priscilla always felt on edge and uncomfortable when her father and Elvis got together, her father asked too many questions, mostly about the people Elvis always had around him, and Priscilla knew how this annoyed Elvis. She would try and tell her father to stop with so many questions, but he would continue to ask them.

After the evening meal, it was time for the nerve racking grand tour of the house. Priscilla was shaking in her boots when it came to showing them her room, she did her best to seem calm while trying to also remain casual, then would show her parents Elvis’ bedroom.

Mr. And Mrs. Beaulieu, didn’t even question Priscilla about her so called "own bedroom," but Priscilla sensed that her parents didn’t believe it was where she slept anyway.

On that night after Priscilla’ parents had left, Elvis noticed Charlie’s bed was covered with Priscilla’ teddy bear collection on his bed. Elvis couldn’t control himself and ended up in fit of laughter.
